Last Month’s Climatology: |
|
It was the fifth most cyclonic April and also the fifth most northerly April in 140 years of records, so it’s no surprise that it was a fairly cold and exceptionally wet month. Averaged over England and Wales, the only wetter Aprils were in 2000 and 1756, while it was also the dullest April since 1998 and the coldest since 1989. |
